Zirka Circus, the only circus of its kind in New Zealand, has just embarked on a 10-year anniversary tour with its new show – Into the Future.
Zirka Circus has successfully been entertaining families in New Zealand for over 10 years and this brand new show will be bringing a whole new level of entertainment to town! Performing Arts, Theatre and Showtime are all wrapped up in a world class performance that can be enjoyed by all ages.
Zirka is the first and only contemporary circus to be owned and operated in New Zealand and Australia by a woman. Owner/Manager Jeni Hou and her family have been in the entertainment and circus industry for three generations.
Into the Future features 20 award-winning international artists, including the five “motorbikes of madness” accelerating inside the “Sphere of Fear”.
‘Universoul Circus’ from the USA describes the global award-winning bicycle act as “…the most amazing bicycle display you’ll ever see! 12 beautiful acrobats performing tricks on a single bicycle in an act that combines aerobics, gymnastics, riding and dance… truly incredible.
