Two people are in Rotorua Hospital after a crash in Galatea last night.
Police were alerted to the crash on Whirinaki Road at 8.40 pm a Police spokeswoman said.
“A car has crashed into a fence, into a field and two people have been injured – one is described as serious and one as moderate,” she said.
A rescue helicopter was sent to the scene.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson said two people were taken to Rotorua Hospital in a serious and moderate condition.
