Police are now able to release the name of the motorcyclist who died in a crash in Brightwater, Nelson on the afternoon of March 31.
He was 64-year-old Douglas Charles Cater, of Nelson.
The single motorcycle crash happened at the intersection of Teapot Valley Road and Waimea West Road.
Mr Cater’s death has been referred to the Coroner.
