Library open late on Census Day

The Horizon Energy Group Whakatāne Library will be open from 5-7pm on Census day – Tuesday 6 March – so that members of the public who do not have computer access will have an opportunity to complete their census forms online.

People who wish to complete their Census forms ahead of Tuesday can also visit the Library at any time during normal opening hours and use the free internet and computers available through APNK network (Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa). This year, Census 2018 is hoping that most New Zealanders will complete the Census online. Library staff understand that access to Census forms may not be straightforward for everyone, and are available to help people navigate through the process.

To complete census forms online, you will need the unique access code for your postal address, which should have been delivered by now to all urban households.
