Have you voted?

After yesterday’s mail delivery, 4500 voting returns had been received from voters in the Whakatane District.

That represents just over 19% of the District’s 23,223 eligible voters. That compares with a 15.7% voter turn-out at the same stage in the 2013 triennial election.

Votes received by ward, to date are: Murupara – 150 (9% of eligible voters); Rangitāiki – 1325 (20% of eligible voters); Tāneatua – 350 (17.5% of eligible voters); Whakatāne-Ōhope – 2675 (20.5% of eligible voters).

Voting in the Local Government elections closes at midday on Saturday, 8 October, which means postal votes should be put in the mail by Wednesday 5 October at the latest.

Voting papers can also be lodged at the Whakatāne District Council Civic Centre in Whakatane at any time before midday on Saturday, 8 October; or at the Council Service Centre in Murupara before 4.30pm on Friday, 7 October.

  1. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the
pictures aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I
think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same results.

  2. This design is spectacular! You most certainly know how to
keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos,
I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!

  3. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing
the page layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve
got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of
content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.

Maybe you could space it out better?

  4. I am sure this piece of writing has touched all the internet
users, its really really pleasant paragraph on building up new blog.

  5. My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from
PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform.
I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
