Police are assisting a group of people who are stuck on rocks at the Whakatane Heads.
Police received a report of a group of people on rocks at the Whakatane Heads around 5:40 pm, a Police spokesperson says.
“They don’t appear to be in any immediate danger, but we are working to get them back to shore.”
