Whakatāne Police are seeking the public’s help to identify this man.
He committed burglaries to already suffering businesses in The Strand today,” Senior Sergeant Caoin Macey said.
“The man stole the vehicle of a business owner and then almost mowed down members of the public as he tried to get away”.
The stolen vehicle is a 2006 silver Honda Civic hatchback, registration DDU68.
