Also on Sunday the Whakatane Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is one of many being held  throughout New Zealand in September. The Whakatane Walk will start at 2pm at the  ampitheatre on the Warren Cole Walkway and head toward the bridge.

Registrations begin at 1pm.  ­
